In 1981, a group of pioneering people in West Yorkshire founded our building society to finance environmental building renovations and support sustainable housing. From our first office in Cross Hills to today in Silsden, our mission remains the same: providing mortgages for homes and projects that make a positive impact – for people, communities and our planet – funded by our simple, transparent savings accounts.
