Change of Details

To change your address on the Ecology App

• Log in and select the person icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
• Scroll down to your address.
• Select Edit
• Enter your new postcode.
• Select your address from the list.
• You’ll be asked to enter this followed by your PIN number (if biometrics are enabled you won’t need to enter your PIN)

Your address will then be changed.

You’ll receive an email and a text to confirm your address has been changed.

Please note you can only change your address every six months. If you need to do it again within six months, please contact us to do this. You can contact us directly through the app.

To change your address on the Online Service

• Log in to the Online Service
• Click on Profile in the top right
• Scroll down and click ‘Change your address’
• Type in your postcode or click ‘Enter address manually’ to do it manually.
• Click ‘Save’

To change your address by email or post

Complete the Change of Details form and email it to: [email protected]

Or post it to: Member Services, Ecology Building Society, Ellis House, 7 Belton Road, Silsden, West Yorkshire BD20 0EE

To change your phone number on the Ecology App

• Log in and select the person icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
• Scroll down to Phone
• Select Edit
• Enter your new phone number
• You will be sent a verification code to verify your new number. You’ll be asked to enter this followed by your PIN number (if biometrics are enabled you won’t need to enter your PIN)

You’ll receive an email and a text to confirm your address has been changed.

To change your phone number on the Online Service

• Log in to the Online Service
• Click on Profile in the top right
• Scroll down to where it says Mobile number and click ‘Edit’
• Type in your new mobile number
• Click ‘Save’

To change your phone number by email or post

Complete the Change of Details form and email it to: [email protected]

Or post it to: Member Services, Ecology Building Society, Ellis House, 7 Belton Road, Silsden, West Yorkshire BD20 0EE  

Complete the Change of Details form and email it with evidence of the required change (marriage certificate or change of name deed) to: [email protected]

Or post it with evidence of the required change (marriage certificate or change of name deed) to: Member Services, Ecology Building Society, Ellis House, 7 Belton Road, Silsden, West Yorkshire BD20 0EE  

For security reasons you cannot change your email address in the Ecology App or on the Online Service.

To change your linked bank account on the Ecology App

• Log in and select the person icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
• Scroll down to your linked bank account.
• Select Edit
• Enter your new linked bank account details.
• You’ll be asked to enter this followed by your PIN number (if biometrics are enabled you won’t need to enter your PIN)

Your linked bank account will then be changed.

You’ll receive an email and a text to confirm your linked bank account has been changed.

Please note you can only change your linked bank account every six months. If you need to do it again within six months, please contact us to do this. You can contact us directly through the app.

To change your linked bank account on the Online Service

• Log in to the Online Service
• Click on Profile in the top right
• Scroll down and click ‘linked bank account’
• Enter your new linked bank account details.
• Click ‘Save’

To change your linked bank account details by email or post
